Speculation of the Essence

This piece depicts the essence of nature through various microscopic structures, ultimately illustrating the totality of nature's beauty beyond the surface. A digital microscope was used to capture complex forms of various flowers to reveal the organic systems and visual movements that could not be seen with the naked eye. This exploration highlights the juxtaposition between the outsider's perspective upon nature and the essence of nature itself through the lens of a microscope. I was fascinated by the manipulation of optic focuses in enabling travel through uncharted microcosms. This experimentation allowed the observation of otherworldly nature through contemplation and speculation.
